Our CEM I 52.5R (nl) has been developed specifically to enable very high early strength.
It offers a substantial advantage for manufacturers of precast or prestressed elements or for any other application where very high early strength is required.
Both our CEM I 42.5R and CEM I 52.5R (nl) have a very low alcali contents. They are both qualified as Low Alcali (L.A.) according to a Belgian addition to the European Cement Norm EN 197-1.
Both our CEM I 42.5R and our CEM I 52.5R (nl) are made of the same clinker, that is produced in our plant in Outão (Portugal). The cement is transported by sea vessel of 6,000 tonnes from our private quay besides our cement plant in Outão to our terminal in Terneuzen.
